Food Drive

Along with Ameriprise Financial and Cub Foods, you can help the less fortunate this holiday season. This year the Cub Foods/Ameriprise Food and Cash drive will walk down Nicollet Mall twice at each night's parade collecting donations for the Emergency Foodshelf Network. Volunteers will collect donations just before the parade begins; then again as the Circus Train float chugs down the parade route. Spectators are encouraged to donate cash gifts or food donations such as dry cereal, canned goods, baking mixes, sugar, flour, rice, pasta, boxed main dishes and assorted toiletries.

"Hunger affects hundreds of thousands of people in the Twin Cities. Half of them are children", said Tim Barnes, Executive Director of the Emergency Foodshelf Network (EFN). "The upcoming winter months are an especially difficult time of year for these families, so we strongly encourage everyone to take advantage of Ameriprise Financial's generous match challenge and come out to Macy's Holidazzle with food and cash donations. Together we will make the holidays brighter for thousands of local families facing hunger."

Ameriprise Financial will be matching all cash contributions up to $35,000!
